The GE MAC800 ECG Machine Keypad can be used to control the MAC800
ECG machine system. Not only can you enter data like a normal
computer keyboard, but it can also be used to select menu options
and browse data entry fields, making it a very versatile and
powerful widget. Each key on the keyboard has its own function. It
is not recommended for untrained staff to use it. The specific key
functions include the following:
1.Function Keys (F1 through F6): Select menu options on the screen.
2.Leads key: Change leads when the waveform is displayed on the
screen.
3.Power Button: Turns the system on and off.
4.ECG key: Collect resting ECG in arrhythmia mode and print a
10-second report.
5.Trimpad: Arrows move the cursor left, right, up, or down to
highlight menu or screen items. Press the center button to select
the highlighted item.
6.Rhythm key: Print a continuous real-time rhythm bar. Press Stop
to stop printing the rhythm strip. (Rhythm reports are not stored
and cannot be transmitted.)
7. Stop key: Stop the writer from printing.
8. Backspace key: delete characters.
9. Spacebar: Add spaces between typed characters.
10.T9 key: switch between different input methods.
