    The E-COP module integrates the measurement of cardiac output (CO), right ventricular ejection fraction (REF) and invasive arterial pressure (P) by thermodilution on the CARESCAPE™ monitor screen. The E-COPSv module allows additional measurement of combined venous oxygen saturation (SvO2) and central venous oxygen saturation (ScvO2). The module complies with IEC 60601-1 3rd edition.

    • The module contains direct keys to the C.O. to start. Measurement and zeroing of invasive pressure channels

    • A unique set of automatic CO measurement types

    • Up to six COs can edit the average CO measurement.

    • Hemodynamic and oxygenation calculation screen view

    • Provides the following hemodynamic calculations with indexed values: CI, SV, SI, SVR, SVRI, PVR, PVRI, LVSW, LVSWI, LCW, LCWI, RCW, RCWI, RVEDV, RVEDVI, RVSW, RVSWI+RVESV and RVESVI

    • Provides the following oxygenation calculations with indexed values: CaO2, CvO2, C(a-v)O2, VO2, VO2I, RQ, ATMP, VO2 calculation, VO2I calculation, O2ER, DO2, DO2I, PaO2, AaDO2, CcO2, Qs /Qt, CO calculation. and CI calculations.

    • Module insertion/removal without interrupting other monitoring. • SvO2, ScvO2, CO and REF measurements are provided by Edwards Lifesciences Corp. compatible catheters.
